Always wanted to sing. Did sing, but rarely jazz. Now in my old age, I'm singing and trying to learn jazz guitar chords. I live in the "rocket city," Huntsville, Alabama, but I'm not "from here." My favorite bass player is Scott LeFaro. My favorite singer is Ella Fitzgerald. My favorite guitarist is still Mark Knopfler. No one can top Miles in making a trumpet actually SOUND GOOD. No one can compete with Monk for creating musical ear butterflies!
